Catches of 50 to 100 fish per boat are coming in on a regular basis.... Falcons water level is dropping weekly... Recent rains may help that but the valley continues to want more and more water.... With the falling water, Lots of fish are holding their ground on Shallow rocky points. Shallow running crankbaits and plastic worms and jigs are a ticket for success.... Went out yesterday with a friend to check out some spots and caught over 50 fish before being run off the lake because of Rain.
Made a quick trip to Sugar and took Robert Myers with me.... We had lots of fish all day on Crank Baits and Plastics,,, Best five went 32+ pounds.
Finding nice fish on the bite in 4 and 5 foot of water. The spawn is almost over but still some nice fish to found shallow. Water is falling fast on Sugar.... look for any flooded structure in the water. Jigs and plastics are working .
Got behind on my Fishing Reports so I'm catching up: Took out two great fishermen on Sunday after the Bass Champs tournament on Falcon. We made a quick trip to Sugar and the bite was on. Started out throwing shallow crankbaits and worms on flooded humps and trees but didn't get any big players to bite. Went out deep with Deep Crankbaits and jigs and had a good day.
